You can visualise your data geographically using Tableau by the consumption of WMS services. There are a number of free WMS services out there, I will add to this list as I find more:-

Canada

The Toporama Web Map Service (Toporama WMS) of the Earth Sciences Sector (ESS) at Natural Resources Canada (NRCan).

Starting in the fall of 2011 we are running a Tableau User Group in Calgary. The plan is to run a session every first Tuesday of every second month starting September 6th.

The sessions will be held on the 21st floor of the Dome Tower, 333 7 ave SW from 4pm until 6pm.
